Do you need my card numbers?
No. You add your cards by name, like “Amex Gold”. TapWizz never asks for card numbers, PINs or bank logins.
How does it know what kind of store I’m in?
Only if you allow it. With store alerts on, TapWizz uses your location to spot the store you arrive at, and the store’s merchant category code (MCC) tells it the purchase category. Prefer not to share your location in the background? Open the app at checkout instead.
Is it free?
Yes, it’s free during the beta. TapWizz’s core card picks are free; some extra features are part of TapWizz Plus, an optional subscription billed through Apple.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone only, during the private beta. On Android? Join anyway and we’ll add you to our Android list.
